I am a PhD and an university teacher in Comparative Religion in University of Turku. My dissertation (2017) dealt a meaning making process of oral history of an old pilot village in the archipelago of southwestern Finland.
My post doc studies deals with shamanism, vernacular spirituality and autoethnography as a research writing method. I’m also interesred in the local, experience based knowledge in the area of the Baltic Sea.
I have practiced and taught shamanism over twenty years, hence I have expertise in the field I am approaching.
